Registered Nurse (RN) After-hours Week Nights

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate registered nurses who are committed to creating meaningful experiences for our patients and their families. As an After-hours Hospice RN on weeknights (Monday–Thursday, 5 pm – 8 am, ending Friday morning at 8 am), you’ll serve as the patient advocate, ensuring every patient receives the quality care they deserve. You’ll communicate with patients, their families, and the hospice care team while being fully supported by our 24/7 RN-staffed Triage Department and your local hospice team.

This is a salaried, full-time position with supportive leadership, professional development opportunities, and room for advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for patients to ensure they receive quality care.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and the hospice care team to coordinate the plan of care.
  • Provide compassionate, present care to patients and families during after-hours shifts.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred).
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently, and lift at least 80–100 lbs.
  • A heart to serve patients and families with a passion for providing the best possible care.
