Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
- Supervise and delegate care and tasks to other personnel.
- Assess and make decisions about changes in patients' conditions, and report verbally and in writing to the healthcare team.
- Care is coordinated and documented by the nurse.
- Manage critical care patients with multisystem medical problems.
- Respond calmly to emergencies.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina.
- CPR certification or obtained within three months of employment.
- ACLS certification within twelve months of hire and maintain certification per hospital policy.
- ASLS certification within twelve months of hire.
- BSN preferred.
- One year recent experience in Critical Care clinical environments as a registered nurse.
- Certification as Critical Care Registered Nurse preferred.
- PALS certification preferred.
