REGISTERED NURSE (RN) (ADN or BSN) - Critical Care/SDU

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Supervise and delegate care and tasks to other personnel.
• Assess and make decisions about changes in patients' conditions, and report verbally and in writing to the healthcare team.
• Care is coordinated and documented by the nurse.
• Manage critical care patients with multisystem medical problems.
• Respond calmly to emergencies.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina.
• CPR certification or obtained within three months of employment.
• ACLS certification within twelve months of hire and maintain certification per hospital policy.
• ASLS certification within twelve months of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• One year recent experience in Critical Care clinical environments as a registered nurse.
• Certification as Critical Care Registered Nurse preferred.
• PALS certification preferred.
