Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - Medical Surgery - PRN

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key liaison between patients, families, providers, and staff, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; develop and communicate care plans; prioritize patient flow; and document assessments and interventions.Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, providing education, and ensuring effective communication with families and staff.Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance patient outcomes, staff satisfaction, and organizational performance.Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and stay current with industry best practices; pursue professional growth and leadership development.Mentor and support the growth of other nurses; promote a positive work environment; adhere to safety, confidentiality, and professional standards. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.Current RN license (multi-state compact or single-state).Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS). This role involves performing duties as assigned, supporting organizational policies, and contributing to a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare environment.
