Registered Nurse - PRN - Acute Care

About the Role

Provide professional nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit, utilizing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure patient comfort and well-being. Supervise, delegate, and document care, including teaching patients and families. Implement medically prescribed interventions and foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality acute care to step-down and med-surg patients
• Monitor and manage care for long-term and chronically ill patients
• Build relationships with patients and families through education and support
• Support professional growth within a supportive team environment

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Current RN licensure (NC Board or eNLC)
• BLS certification
• Preferably one year of hospital experience
