Registered Nurse ( RN ) - 5th Floor ICU

Shift: Night Shift
72 hours per pay period, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend and rotating holidays in accordance with CBA.

Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Requirements

• Graduate from a state-accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
• For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
• ICU experience preferred.
• Must be familiar with hospital and department policies and procedures, accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department service work, and familiarity with the medical staff (normally acquired through 1-3 months of orientation time).
• Must maintain current nursing knowledge, BLS certification, and required CEUs for relicensure.
• Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of MGHP.
