Registered Nurse ( RN ) - 5th Floor ICU

Employment Type: Full time
Shift: Night Shift (7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.)
Schedule: 72 hours per pay period, every other weekend, and rotating holidays in accordance with CBA

Responsibilities

• Work in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care.
• Facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Requirements

• Graduate from a state-accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
• For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty areas, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
• ICU experience preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital and department policies and procedures, accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department service work, and familiarity with the medical staff (normally acquired through 1–3 months of orientation).
• Must maintain current nursing knowledge, BLS certification, and required CEUs for relicensure.
• Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of MGHP.
