Role Overview

The Nurse Residency Program is designed for new graduate nurses with less than one year of experience. Responsibilities include actively participating in clinical education, completing competencies, and managing patient care under supervision. The role involves collecting patient data, developing care plans, administering treatments, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies on licensure, infection control, and patient confidentiality. Participants will engage in quality improvement, document observations, delegate care, and respond to emergency situations, all while demonstrating compassionate patient advocacy.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred
• No prior experience required; candidates with over 12 months of experience are ineligible
• Current RN license or Graduate Nurse license with NCLEX scheduled
• Ability to perform nursing assessments, develop care plans, and follow clinical standards
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
