Registered Nurse Residency Program

Overview

Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is in search of new-grad nurses to join their Nurse Residency Program. The Registered Nurse Residency Program (RNRP) is a 6-month bridge program designed for RNs with less than one year of experience to work directly with experienced nurses and transition into professional hospital nursing positions.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with an experienced nurse preceptor to develop basic skills as an RN.
• Participate in a series of classes, hands-on skills sessions, and simulation experiences to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Complete a capstone project related to the nursing profession, clinical practice, or a change in clinical practice, which must be evidence-based.
• Increase confidence in practice, develop appropriate decision-making skills, improve multi-disciplinary collaboration, and decrease burnout through various learning methods.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (either ADN or BSN).
• Vermont RN licensure required before starting employment.
• Newly graduated nurse or re-entry nurse with less than one year of experience.

Pay

The posted salary reflects base compensation for candidates with limited experience. An offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. An offer of employment may be outside of the posted range based on these factors.

This position is Full-time (a Part-Time option is also available).
