Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for patients with acute and chronic kidney conditions
- Deliver evidence-based nursing interventions, administer medications and renal treatments
- Monitor complex patients and respond promptly to changes in their condition
- Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment plans
- Collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Accurately document all patient interactions and treatments in EMR systems
Qualifications & Skills
- Current valid nursing license
- Experience in renal or medical-surgical nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to respond to patient needs quickly
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a team and document thoroughly
