About the role
Join our team as an on-call Registered Nurse, providing comprehensive patient care in a community-focused health center.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient visits, discuss chief complaints, obtain vital signs, complete health histories, and document in the EMR system.
- Perform phone triage.
- Auxiliary in diagnostic procedures including IV starts.
- Provide patient education on treatments and medications.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans, coordinate referrals, and provide patient education.
Qualifications
- An Associate's Degree or higher in Nursing, or a valid RN license with dual licensure in WA & OR within 120 days.
- BCLS certification within 90 days is required; ACLS & PALS are preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency in nursing concepts.
- Strong communication skills.
- Multitasking ability.
- Cultural competence.
- Bilingual abilities (preferred).
- Basic computer skills.
