Registered Nurse - Regulatory & Accreditation Specialist

Lee Health is looking for a Healthcare Regulatory & Accreditation Specialist to serve as a trusted partner to leaders and teams across our outpatient locations and/or acute care facilities. In this role, you’ll help ensure we’re prepared - not just for surveys, but every day - by consulting with leadership, supporting regulatory compliance, facilitating change, and helping teams meet CMS, NIAHO, ISO, and other quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Consult with leadership on regulatory and accreditation matters.
• Support regulatory compliance efforts across outpatient and acute care locations.
• Facilitate change initiatives to improve readiness.
• Help teams meet CMS, NIAHO, ISO, and other quality and regulatory standards.
• Make a meaningful impact on healthcare quality and patient care.
• Partner with leaders across the organization.
• Serve as a subject matter resource for regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Help build and sustain a culture of continuous readiness.
• Bring clinical knowledge into a role focused on organizational excellence.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited health related program.
• BS or BA degree preferred.
• 5 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Other licensed healthcare professionals with an Associate’s degree or higher and a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience considered.
• Experience in project management and facilitating change.
• Quality and regulatory standards experience preferred.
• Currently licensed in the State of Florida or eligible to obtain licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Analytical skills.
• Grammar and spelling proficiency.
• Ability to work independently to meet assignments.
