Registered Nurse/Registered Psych Nurse - Nurse II (0.8 Indefinite)

About the Role

The nurse acts as a resource to the patient as they transition from acute illness to stabilization and discharge back into the community. The role involves assisting patients in mobilizing their internal resources, encouraging and guiding them to recognize, identify, utilize, and build on their own capabilities to manage their lives in view of their mental illness.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM) or the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) required.
• Experience or training in mental health is an asset.

Schedule

Rotating shifts, including days (D) and nights (N):

• Week 1: Fri (D), Sat (N), Sun (N), Mon (N)
• Week 2: Tue (N), Wed (N), Thu (N), Fri (D), Sat (D)
• Week 3: Sun (D), Mon (D), Tue (D), Wed (N), Thu (N)
• Week 4: Fri (N)
• Week 5: Sat (N), Sun (N), Mon (N), Tue (N), Wed (D)
• Week 6: Thu (D), Fri (D), Sat (D), Sun (D), Mon (D)
