Registered Nurse - Recovery Room/PACU

Role Overview: This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a Recovery Room/PACU setting, primarily for pediatric to adult patients in the immediate post-operative period. Key Responsibilities: Maintain patient airway, assess hemodynamic stability, monitor sedation and neurological status, manage pain and comfort, evaluate wound/incision integrity, and perform overall patient assessments. Collaborative Duties: Work closely with OR/ED/Inpatient RNs, anesthesia staff, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Work Environment: Manage 26 beds across multiple surgical cases daily in a high-volume surgical setting with 40-50 cases.
