About the role
The Registered Nurse - Quality Analyst (RN) at Canyon Vista Medical Center assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary.
Essential Functions
- Aids in developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
- Aids the director in managing and analyzing performance data, supporting the implementation of process improvement.
- Makes presentations at various meetings including Quality and Safety Committee, New Employee Orientation, and others.
- Maintains departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
- Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
- Affirms the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary.
- Fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
- Reports to: Director, Quality and Safety

Qualifications
- A current Arizona or compact state RN license.
- An Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or Quality (strongly preferred).
- One (1) to three (3) years diverse clinical practice in an acute care environment.
- Previous performance improvement and/or project management experience.
- Demonstrated progressive leadership skills.
