About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse – Pulmonary Progressive Care to provide specialized care for patients with respiratory conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, and influenza.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and implement early interventions
- Manage complex respiratory therapies including tracheostomy, ventilators, CPAP/BIPAP, and chest tubes
- Administer blood products and IV medications
- Monitor and respond to escalating oxygen and ventilatory needs
- Offer advanced respiratory care and support patient recovery
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure and BLS certification
- At least one year of acute nursing experience
