Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Progressive Care

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Pulmonary Progressive Care unit, providing specialized care for patients with respiratory conditions such as pneumonia, COPD, pulmonary embolism, and influenza.

In this role, you will deliver comprehensive nursing care, perform focused respiratory assessments, and manage advanced respiratory therapies including tracheostomy, ventilators, CPAP/BIPAP, and chest tubes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with respiratory conditions
• Perform focused respiratory assessments
• Manage advanced respiratory therapies (tracheostomy, ventilators, CPAP/BIPAP, chest tubes)
• Provide early intervention and proactive patient monitoring to improve outcomes
• Engage in respiratory management for conditions such as pneumonia, COPD, pulmonary embolism, and influenza

Requirements

• Current RN license
• At least one year of acute nursing experience
• BLS certification
