About the role
We are seeking a registered nurse to provide specialized care in a dynamic Pulmonary Unit.
Responsibilities
- Delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, and pulmonary embolism
- Performing focused respiratory assessments
- Implementing early interventions for deteriorating respiratory status
Key Skills and Duties
- Managing tracheostomies, ventilated patients, CPAP/BIPAP, chest tubes, and administering blood products and IV therapies
- Conducting advanced respiratory assessments and interventions
- Supporting proactive patient monitoring
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a preference for a bachelor's degree
- At least one year of acute nursing experience
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state
- BLS certification
