About the Role

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join Baptist South Pulmonary Cardiac PCU on Night Shift. New hires are eligible for a $3,750 Sign On Bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Serve as patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities
• Provide for patient needs through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Organize and supervise care provided by supportive personnel
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Include patients and significant others/families in developing an individualized plan of care

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing required
• Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS) preferred
• Less than 1 year of experience required
• Medical Surgical Nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Hospital experience required
