Registered Nurse PT Nights D3C
New hires for the Staff Nurse Night shift position are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, with the first half paid at 6 months and the second half at one year of employment.
About the role
Provides direct patient care based on the knowledge of ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Butler Hospital policies and procedures, and the RI Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities
- Participates in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care and discharge planning of patients.
- Coordinates Psychiatric and/or Medical emergencies to ensure proper care for the individual in crisis and safety for all other patients.
- Participates as an active team member by assisting other staff and accepting additional assignments to complete essential patient care and unit responsibilities.
- Administers medications with knowledge of action, mode of administration, side effects, and contraindications.
- Assumes role of Charge Nurse for the shift.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- B.S.N preferred.
- Current RI nursing license.
Schedule
20/40 Part Time Nights - Every Other Weekend on the Delmonico 3C Unit.

This unit focuses on providing specialized treatment for patients with unique and complex needs, including those with psychotic and mood disorders, severe behavioral disturbances, and intellectual or developmental disabilities.
