Registered Nurse - PT Nights

We are looking for individuals who can embrace our mission to purposely brighten and enrich the lives of those we serve with HEART: Hospitality, Excellence, Appreciation, Respect & Teamwork. This individual is responsible for the daily clinical aspect functioning to meet all residents’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Medication supervision/administration in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
• May be responsible for the admissions of new residents, including all admission assessments and documentation.
• Complete acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
• May oversee clinical system tracking (e.g., wounds or infection control) under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• May handle discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as indicated.
• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provide proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies.
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• Understand role in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or two years of related experience and/or training.
• 1+ years of experience in a skilled, sub-acute, or memory care setting.
• Registered Nurse’s License current and in good standing in the state of practice, with no judgments against it.
• CPR certified.
• Acceptable fluency in English to perform job duties and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and third parties.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination unless exempt due to medical, religious, or personal beliefs (government requirements or exclusions may apply).
