Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Nights

Position: Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit Responsibilities Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.Maintains current competency and contributes to team development.Integrates ethical practices, evidence-based research, and promotes safety.Supervises staff, guides patient care, and documents thoroughly and timely.Adapts to varying situations and responds effectively to emergencies. Qualifications & Skills Minimum one year of nursing experience; Cardiac Tele and Critical Care experience preferred.Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Effective communication and leadership abilities.Current Illinois Nursing license; BLS certification; ACLS within 3 months; NIHSS within 1 month; PALS/NRP may be required. Key Duties Provide patient-centered nursing care in a progressive care setting.Float to other inpatient units as needed.Participate in professional development and uphold safety standards.
