Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

About the role

Provide direct nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, assessing patient conditions, and coordinating discharge planning. Serve as the primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care and accurately carry out physician and nursing orders.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient status
• Assessing patient needs and coordinating discharge plans
• Ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and protocols

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a multi-state license (Compact State)
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure
• Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire
