About the role
The Registered Nurse - Critical Care plays a vital role as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in a clinical environment guided by evidence-based practices and organizational models.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using the nursing process.
- Deliver personalized, culturally competent care, partnering with patients and families to meet their goals.
- Ensure effective communication and documentation to promote safe, quality care, and foster teamwork and collaboration.
- Support professional development by mentoring peers, maintaining competencies, and participating in research and quality improvement activities.
- Promote adherence to policies, standards, and safety protocols, including participation in performance improvement and resource management.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of direct patient care nursing experience.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Current licensure as an RN (single or multi-state).
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or Provisional).
