About the Role
The RN Clinical Nurse – Critical Care is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, individualized, and safe patient care in a clinical environment supported by evidence-based practice and organizational models.
Responsibilities
- Conduct the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Deliver patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity.
- Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ensure documentation of care and promote safety.
- Support performance improvement initiatives.
- Maintain licensure and certifications (RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS).
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and uphold clinical standards and ethical practices.
- Participate in research, evidence-based practice, and protocol development to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Certifications required: RN licensure (single or multi-state), BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
