About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a technically complex environment. Models proficiency through precepting and supports a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Emphasizes wellness, patient-centered care, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing practice.
• Support clinical education and competency validation.
• Contribute to safe, efficient, and effective patient care.
• Model professionalism and foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure.
• 6 months ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship.
• BLS and ACLS certification through AHA or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
