Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Position Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring safety, effectiveness, and professional accountability for assigned patients. Key Responsibilities Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers and coordinate interdisciplinary patient care.Maintain patient rights and confidentiality, performing duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.Perform assessments and reassessments for patients in a progressive care setting with diverse medical needs, including cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and other systems.Ensure completion of required certifications such as ACLS, NIHSS, and ASLS within specified timeframes. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN).Current RN license in the respective state or compact licensure.Experience in a healthcare setting, with relevant certifications including BLS; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, and others may be required.Physical ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs, and perform prolonged standing, walking, and various physical movements.
