About the role
We are seeking an Experienced Inpatient Registered Nurse to join an intermediate care unit specializing in neuro and medical diagnoses, including stroke and post-operative neurosurgical patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document all nursing care accurately
- Monitor patient safety
- Manage medication administration, telemetry, wound care, and use of patient handling equipment
- Provide effective communication through hourly rounding and bedside reports
- Ensure compliance with standards and safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Offer peer feedback for professional growth
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification (within 1 year)
- Over one year of nursing experience
- Strong clinical skills in assessments, patient management, and safety practices
