About the role
A registered nurse in progressive care is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting any changes.
- Perform procedures and administer medications as ordered, documenting thoroughly.
- Monitor patient responses and maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care.
- Serve as an advocate to support an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- RN license with a Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days.
