Job Summary Practice professional nursing by performing independent and delegated medical functions in accordance with standards. Responsibilities include initiating and providing nursing care through health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions using specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills across biological, physical, social, and behavioral sciences. Focus on patient/member needs: Develops and maintains productive relationships, actively seeks understanding of their circumstances, and responds promptly to meet their needs. Essential Responsibilities Adhere to all quality, safety, and emergency policies; ensure patient safety in medication administration, procedures, infection control, and fall prevention; report hazards and incidents.Evaluate health status through data collection and assessment; analyze reports to identify problems and create care plans.Prioritize patient needs, triage in person or via phone, and implement appropriate actions per protocols or provider guidance.Assess emergency situations and initiate nursing interventions; provide health education and counseling.Execute delegated medical functions, including administering medications and IV therapy, in line with legal and professional standards.Coordinate care across services, manage patient populations, and lead healthcare team efforts to ensure effective nursing practice and resource utilization.Act as patient advocate, referring patients to additional care resources when necessary. Qualifications At least one year of RN experience required.Graduate of an approved RN program with at least 750 supervised clinical hours.High School Diploma or GED.Valid Registered Nurse License. Additional Requirements Strong customer service skills and understanding of patient needs. Preferred Qualifications National Provider Identifier (NPI) and Taxonomy code preferred at hire.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required for some specialties.
