About the role
Registered nurse providing professional and technical nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care
- Promote a safe, therapeutic environment
- Communicate effectively with team, patients, and families
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information
- Administer medications and IV therapies safely and timely
- Support patient and family education
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality care
- Maintain professional growth and performance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility
- At least 1 year NICU RN experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team skills
- Commitment to nursing standards and patient safety
