Registered Nurse - PRN Tier 2 - Labor & Delivery

About the Role

Provide high-level nursing care to patients as a PRN Tier 2 Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver direct and indirect patient care.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain professional growth and adhere to hospital standards.
• Promote teamwork and provide education for patients and families.
• Assumes responsibility for patient safety and medication administration.
• Foster team communication and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Valid nursing license in Texas or eligible to obtain one.
• Minimum of six months RN experience.
