Registered Nurse - PRN Tier 2 - Labor and Delivery

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver quality patient care
• Promote a safe, therapeutic environment
• Communicate effectively with team, patients, and families
• Ensure accurate documentation
• Administer medications and IVs safely and timely
• Support educational needs of patients and families
• Participate in team building and adherence to hospital standards
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed to support patient care and department functions

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility
• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience
