About the role

Registered nurse providing high-level clinical care to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). The role involves direct and indirect patient care, collaboration with healthcare team, and adherence to clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, accurate, and timely patient care, including medication and IV administration.
• Communicate effectively with team, patients, and families to promote understanding.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment and adhere to hospital standards.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health information.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility.
• Minimum of 1 year of labor and delivery RN experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Commitment to quality patient care and professional development.
