Registered Nurse - PRN, On Call

Job Summary Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care, including health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and supportive care, following accepted standards. The role involves Assessing patient health status, collecting and analyzing data, and developing care plans.Triaging patients via in-person or telephone, responding to emergencies, and providing health education.Executing delegated medical functions, administering medications, and monitoring therapy plans in accordance with legal and organizational guidelines.Coordinating care across services, advocating for patients, and leading healthcare teams to ensure optimal resource utilization. Qualifications include: a minimum of one year of RN experience, oncology experience within the last five years, a valid RN license, and BLS certification. Skills in customer service, critical thinking, IV therapy, and excellent communication are essential. Preferred qualifications include NPI and Taxonomy codes, BLS certification, and ONS bio/chemo certification. The role requires travel between infusion sites in the Denver/Boulder area.
