Registered Nurse - PRN, On Call
About the Role
Provides professional nursing care through independent and delegated medical functions, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions. Builds strong, cooperative relationships with patients, understanding their needs and circumstances. Ensures safety and quality in all clinical interactions, including medication administration, procedures, and emergency responses.
Collects and assesses health data to identify problems, develop care plans, and prioritize patient needs. Performs triage, health education, and counseling, and executes delegated medical tasks such as IV therapy and medication administration. Coordinates care across healthcare services, manages patient populations, and advocates for patients.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of RN experience, including oncology experience within the last five years.
- Graduate of an approved RN program with hands-on clinical training.
- Current RN license and BLS certification.
- Strong customer service, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- NPI and Taxonomy codes.
- ONS chemo/bio certification.
- Ability to travel between infusion sites.
