Registered Nurse - PRN Nights

About the role

The registered nurse provides professional and technical nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care while supporting hospital standards and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Educate patients, families, and significant others, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Communicate effectively with team members, documenting patient information accurately and timely.
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately.
• Take responsibility for personal performance, professional growth, and development.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Valid nursing license or eligibility in the relevant state.
• Minimum six months of RN experience.
