Responsibilities

• Conducting patient assessments
• Planning individualized care
• Administering medications
• Documenting accurately
• Reassessing patient responses
• Patient teaching

• Adhering to policies and safety standards

Requirements

• Have a nursing diploma or degree
• Be licensed in Tennessee
• Obtain BLS and NRP certifications within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in NICU or Special Care Nursery
• Ability to respond quickly when on call
• Experience working in a NICU environment with patients from birth to 90 days old

SkillsProficiency with various medical equipment

Good communication skills

Physical ability to stand long hours and lift heavy loads
