Registered Nurse - PRN - Nights

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral part of an interdisciplinary care team, providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care in a clinical setting supported by evidence-based practice and organizational models. They uphold the standards of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association's Code of Ethics. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring care is patient-centered and culturally sensitive.Partner with patients and families through effective communication, patient education, and shared decision-making.Coordinate and document safe, quality care across the care continuum, promoting teamwork and respectful interdisciplinary collaboration.Support performance improvement initiatives, research utilization, and professional development, including mentoring and precepting colleagues.Engage in evidence-based practice, participate in data collection, and uphold safety standards and policies.Contribute to protocol development and resource management to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Qualifications & Skills Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in applicable states, with required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and others upon hire.Minimum of one year of recent acute care nursing experience.Strong critical thinking, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments and handle emergencies professionally.
