Registered Nurse - PRN

About the Role

This position involves providing independent and comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. The nurse manages complex care scenarios, delegates tasks appropriately, and adapts to contingencies while developing long-term care strategies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care aligned with professional standards and organizational competencies.
• Assess and address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Evaluate and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying learning needs and available resources.

Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or via compact licensing.
• BLS certification required.

Schedule

This role is per diem, offering flexible scheduling as needed.
