Registered Nurse - PRN

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our MedSurg team on a PRN Tier Plan. This flexible role allows you to select your rate and shifts, with tiers offering up to $50/hr based on the number of shifts completed within a six-week schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent nursing care utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring effectiveness and side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, or caregivers
• Make appropriate care assignments and delegation to team members

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Minimum one year of relevant nursing experience preferred
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to work independently and demonstrate clinical competence
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Flexibility in shift hours and capacity to manage contingencies in patient care

Pay

Up to $50/hr based on the number of shifts completed within a six-week schedule.
