Registered Nurse - PRN - Medical/Surgical

Job Summary Provides comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, collaborating with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to promote patient autonomy, dignity, and health restoration. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, while adhering to safety and cost-effective practices. Responsibilities Assess patients accurately based on their medical conditions.Administer prescribed medications and perform treatments appropriate to patient age and condition.Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality care.Assist physicians with procedures requiring technical skills.Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning.Promote patient safety by minimizing risks and ensuring best practices.Practice lifelong learning to enhance nursing skills and knowledge. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of one year of nursing experience.Graduate from an accredited nursing program.Computer literacy skills.Valid RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.Preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS.
