Registered Nurse - PRN - Medical/Surgical

Job Summary Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to deliver high-quality treatment while respecting patient autonomy, dignity, and rights. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, with additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition.Administer prescribed medications and provide age-appropriate care, including self-care activities.Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans.Utilize nursing knowledge to perform treatments and collaborate with healthcare teams.Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical skills.Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning.Practice cost-effective resource management and promote patient safety.Prioritize patient care effectively and commit to continuous professional learning. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of one year nursing experience.Graduate from an accredited nursing program.Computer literacy.RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.Preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS.
