Registered Nurse - PRN

Role Overview

Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care in the Emergency Department, functioning as a resource for patients and their families. Utilizes strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and implement effective clinical interventions. Works within a fast-paced environment treating major and minor illnesses, including cardiac, stroke, behavioral health, orthopedic injuries, and trauma. Contributes to a team dedicated to delivering high-quality emergency care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge equivalent to an Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s of Nursing preferred
• Less than 1 year of experience in a clinical setting
• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
• American Heart Association CPR Certification

Key Duties

• Assess and modify patient symptoms through clinical nursing interventions
• Serve as an advisor and resource for patients and families
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care delivery
