Registered Nurse - PRN

About the Role

The nurse practices independently within a clinical setting, providing routine and complex patient care while demonstrating awareness of various situational factors. They make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to care team members to effectively manage clinical situations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments using established protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• BLS certification required.

Schedule

Available for per diem work, primarily during 6AM - 6PM shifts lasting 12 hours.
