About the role
Provides nursing care to patients under the direction of a physician. Assists physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
Responsibilities
- Assesses patient needs and develops care plans accordingly
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitors patient health and reports changes to medical staff
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of South Texas
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- Experience in acute care setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Effective communication skills
- Proficient in computer systems and software
