Registered Nurse - PRN

Position: Registered Nurse (Non-Exempt) in the Emergency Department at a critical access hospital. Responsibilities: Provide coordinated, high-quality care to Observation, Inpatient, and Swing patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1. Collaborate with therapy teams to facilitate patient recovery and return to normal activities. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN license (or compact licensure), with no specific experience required but preferred six months as LPN or RN. Must meet physical demands including lifting, standing, and mobility tasks. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required, with training provided if needed. Skills: Strong communication, physical endurance, and ability to perform technical nursing duties. Adaptability to rotating shifts and varying hours.
