Registered Nurse PRN

NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals is a national leader in behavioral healthcare, specializing in patients with acute psychiatric and complex medical needs. Our hospitals use an interdisciplinary, multi-specialty approach that delivers high-quality, patient-centered care when it's needed most. With locations in Indiana, Michigan, Texas, and Arizona, we're expanding access to our unique model of care across the United States. We are growing our nurse team at NPH and adding PRN Registered Nurses (RN) for all shifts to help us provide life-changing care for those receiving treatment for behavioral and mental health symptoms.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, evaluates, and documents all aspects of patient care, in accordance with regulatory requirements, established policy, and hospital values and philosophy
• Assesses the needs of patients and initiates, implements and evaluates individualized plans of care
• Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care
• Maintains satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units
• Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and skills of personnel

Qualifications

• Education: Must be a graduate of accredited school of nursing
• Certification: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana
• Experience: At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in psychiatric care, mental or behavioral health, or addiction recovery
• Location: Must be able and willing to work at both our Mishawaka and Bremen, IN hospital locations based on staffing needs

Schedule

• PRN position supporting both Rivercrest Hospital (Mishawaka, IN) and Doctor's Hospital (Bremen, IN)
• Day and night shifts available
• 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends

Pay

• Hourly rates between $40 - $45 per hour based on experience as a registered nurse
• $5 per hour night shift differential
• $7 weekend day shift differential (Saturday and Sunday)
• $10 weekend night shift differential
