Registered Nurse - PRN

Position: Registered Nurse (Non-Exempt) in the Emergency Department Location: Mercy Hospital Logan County in Guthrie, OK Status: PRN - flexible hours and scheduling Shift: Varies/rotating Responsibilities: Provide coordinated, high-quality emergency care to Observation, Inpatient, and Swing patients. Collaborate with therapy teams to support patient recovery and facilitate a smooth transition back to daily life. Maintain a patient/nurse ratio of 5:1, ensuring attentive care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing programCurrent RN license or compact licensure in the state of practiceExperience not required; six months as an LPN or RN preferredPhysical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various movementsCertifications in BLS and ACLS (training provided if needed); additional unit-specific certifications may be required or obtained during employment Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills; ability to perform physically demanding tasks; adaptability to rotating shifts.
