About the role
At Grafton Integrated Health Network, you'll be part of a team that leads with heart and grit, where compassion and clinical excellence come together to change lives. You'll provide nursing services and health care to Grafton residents under general supervision, managing their health issues and providing comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Manages the health issues and provides nursing care to clients.
- Observes and monitors client health; documents treatments and/or medical concerns in client charts.
- Performs duties associated with maintaining optimal health for clients, including administering medications, obtaining and administering medications, and monitoring medication changes.
- Attends to clients who admit themselves as being sick or injured, and assists with psychological reviews and scheduling appointments.
- Contacts parents or legal guardians to discuss client medical issues and treatment status.
- Works on-call duty in rotation, promptly responding to calls for immediate nursing services.
- Provides hepatitis B or flu vaccines and PPD testing to Grafton staff.
- Conducts in-service staff training related to nursing and health issues, teaching medication administration and related practices to staff.
- Promotes and assists in the control of communicable diseases.
- Participates in multidisciplinary team meetings and various facility-wide meetings and committees.
- Serves as backup for nurses in other Grafton locations as needed.
- Prepares and/or completes health services forms, such as medication permission forms, on-call sheets, and medical/dental appointment sheets.
- Performs other work as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and 1-2 years of experience providing nursing services, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Valid state license as an RN.

Pay
$38.46 up to $51.39, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Requires day, evening, and overnight shifts.
