Responsibilities
Aid in creating a secure and therapeutic environment for the students.
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of the students' physical health and educate them on the link between physical and mental health.
Show proficiency in the Nursing Department's philosophy and uphold the Standards of Nursing Practice and Standards of Care for all patients.
Requirements
- Utah RN licensure or multi-state compact license to practice in Utah
- At least 2 years' experience in the behavioral health/psychiatric nursing field (preferred but not required)
- At least 21 years of age
- Able to pass a criminal history background check and drug screen
- Willing to work 2 shifts every two weeks
- Capable of covering 2 call outs in a rolling calendar year
- Capable of covering either Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day
- Ready to attend mandatory new employee orientation and all required training
